Week 6: Start of the Long Haul

After last week's non-weight loss, I was a bit miffed. So I got back into the whole thing in a rather determined way: it was the girls' birthday party on Sunday and I didn't have a piece of birthday cake! Ruth (Number 1 swimming coach extroidinaire!) has upped the tempo of my swimming training sessions - shorter swims, faster swims!! Lots of walking and swimming and generally running around this week has resulted in losing 2lbs! Oh Hoorah! Next week is half term - that will be a little bit of a test! The week after that, I move onto Phase 2 of the operation: Fireman Dan (Number 1 Lifeguard) has devised my 3 times a week gym routine. Bless him! My dislike of gyms borders on pathological hatred - so that will be interesting!

Exercise: 41,000 steps and 13,600 meters swimming. No more netball until after Christmas.
Treat of the Week: 100g bar of Green and Black's white choccie. Ah...choccie after 6 weeks (my head nearly fell off!)
Weight loss: 2lbs . So 14+2lbs = 16lbs or 32 packets of butter!
